Notification To Clients Receiving Psychotherapy

If you receive behavioral health services from a provider operating within the scope of practice of a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, or psychologist, you have the right to file a complaint regarding your service delivery. We encourage you to work directly with your provider to resolve your concerns immediately, however, you are also entitled to other methods of complaint.

The Board of Behavioral Health Sciences receives and responds to complaints regarding services provided within the scope of practice of (marriage and family therapists, licensed educational psychologists, clinical social workers, or professional clinical counselors).
